Prior to pursuing his education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Galbraith attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he majored in materials science and engineering. Upon graduation, he became a materials and processes engineer for Ball Aerospace in Boulder, Colorado. Dr. Galbraith attended Temple University School of Dentistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He completed his post-graduate residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Denver Health Medical Center.
An active participant in numerous professional organizations, Dr. Galbraith is a member the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, Middle Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Maryland State Dental Association, and the International Team for Implantology.
Research, Publications & Presentations
Dr. Galbraith has published several articles on his research in various scientific journals, including the Journal of Prosthodontics, Compendium of Continuing Dental Education in Dentistry, the American Journal of Dentistry, and the Journal of Dental Research. His presentations on aspects of his research have been well received by his colleagues at the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association.
International Dental Outreach
Committed to sharing his expertise with those in need, Dr. Galbraith has participated in several dental outreach trips to provide dental care to the underserved populations of Haiti, Costa Rica, and Panama.
Community and Family
Dr. Galbraith and his wife Sarah have three busy young boys. In addition to spending time with his family, Dr. Galbraith enjoys hiking, running, cycling, and camping. He also finds time for woodworking and landscaping.
