Meet Dr. Bonnie M. Arroyo, Baltimore Oral Surgeon

Dr. Arroyo was born in Takoma Park, Maryland and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland.  She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at University of Maryland College Park in 2001 and then attended the University of Maryland Dental School earning her doctorate in dental surgery degree in 2005. From 2005 to 2006 she completed a one-year internship in oral & maxillofacial surgery with the University of Maryland Medical System, and then completed a four-year residency and received her certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. in 2010. In 2009 she held a part-time fellowship position in the Department of Otolaryngology / Head and Neck Surgery / Division of Dental and Oral Medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  We recently welcomed her into our practice.

Dr. Arroyo is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and of the American Dental Association. She is also an active member of the Middle Atlantic Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Maryland State Dental Association, and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.

She is currently on the Dean’s Faculty in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Maryland Dental School.

Hobbies and interests include skydiving, motorcycles, scuba diving, waterskiing, and snow boarding.  She enjoys spending time outside the office with her wonderful husband, Dr. Jeremi Arroyo.
